Looks like organic LEDs integrated into the fabric. Power consumption is an issue, since this is a portable application. It's too early to say how long the fabric will function in normal use, given all of the bending, flexing, washing, etc. Pretty cool! Tom

Where are the power source / control electronics that you probably need to wear located? Like the video shows, these fabrics are not just for shirts. Look for attention-getting objects / displays to show up in the displays at trade shows / malls first... If I'd were a set designer, I would try some neat effects by having them draped and blowing a fan on them.
