Power Window Buttons Ambient - partially broken or not?

    Notice for the driver side, unlock and button-lock no lights, and passenger lock/unlock buttons no light. It's a 2012 Prius - 3 - I think, only the driver door opens if the fob key is near.

    Shouldn't all the buttons have lights? If yes, can I fix this? I have basic soldering skills and gear.

    I don’t think so, at least from the Electrical Wiring Diagram (more info), where the Multiplex Network Master Switch Assembly (O6) is shown with LED symbols only when it appears in the System Circuit pages under Power Window, and not when it appears under Door Lock Control.

    You’re supposed to be able to find all of the controls just by feel, anyway.

    Writing of lights on switches...... Shouldn't the power outside mirror switch have a light also?

    The 4 way adjustment and/or the one toggling between mirrors? I will check tonight on mine ...

    A: "Lights are pretty ..."
    B: "Yeah , but you can just feel it -"
    A: "Lights are prett"
    B: "Just touch the-"
    A: "Lights are pretty!!!"

    I see only "Mirror" + 4 arrows. The left-right toggle is not lit in my car.

    So there IS a light for the directional arrows. So I guess mine is burned out.
