Won’t go into ready mode

    I’ve replaced the inverter after having codes P0A78 and P0A94, after replacing it car drove fine that night, but had battery cell 4 bad, battery was shot from what I think was driving on a bad inverter, so I got a remanufactured hybrid battery too. After replacing the battery the car would only go into ready mode once after disconnecting and reconnecting the 12v and I was getting code c1310, I thought this was because the HV ECU was bad and being reset to allow it to start, so I replaced the HV ECU. Now the car won’t go into ready mode at all, and I have no codes. Do I just need to reprogram the ECU?

    welcome!

    i've never heard of reprogramming the ecu.

    are you using the service manual to troubleshoot the codes?

    I’ve found a site with the all the codes and sub code problem areas. Been going off that. Using techstream to get codes. I’ve heard there’s some kind of calibration, or programming that is done after replacing ECUs. It seems strange it isn’t starting at all though

    That's the trouble with hearing things. There is one ECU that need to be initialised to the car, and the HV Battery ECU is not it. If it was, your site with the all the codes and sub code problem areas would have mentioned it, surely.

    You probably just need to go back over your work and check everything is done right. You did the 3 steps to insert the battery safety Interlock to lock it into place? Most people forget the last step to slide the handle vertically straight down until it clicks.

    Gotchya, thanks for the reply. Yes, the plug is fully in, and I have already went back through everything multiple times. The car started once this morning and was slammed with a ton of codes. P0A08-263, p0AA6-526, P3108-535, B2799-539, C1310-156, B1421, B1473, B1498. AC isn’t blowing cold either.

    Any insight you can give is much appreciated

    It looks like there could still be issues in the inverter.

    I recommend you download the 2006 Prius Repair Manual - 2006 PRIUS Electrical Wiring Diagram from here. I'd recommend just looking at the first 4 codes in your list and see what you can cross reference between them.

    Here are my current codes
    B1421 solar sensor
    B1473 ac inverter status
    B1498 communication failure ac inverter
    P0A08 dc/DC converter stays check
    P3108 lost communication with ac module
    C1310 malfunction in hv system
