FQFK4703.JPG Wow this really hurt. Went to tire Kingdom and ordered a Yokahama made in the Philippines. Looks nice but a slightly deeper tread.
Will try to post a picture.

Where in the tread? How close to the edge? Plug repair out of the question?

I had a small finishing nail, maybe 3/4" from edge of tread. Pros (who would do an inside/outside patch/plug) said it was too close to edge. I did an old-school outside-only plug. About 7~8 years later finally replaced that tire (and the set), basically aged-out.

How many miles on the tires?

4K went through the tread and then out the side wall

I think it would have made a great emergency spare with two plugs.

Ouch!! Sort of reminds me of what my wife did a while back. She only made one hole, but it was a doozy. :D
