Hello I have a japanese imported Prius. I am installing a aftermarket stereo system with touch screen etc. the jap reverse cam cable has a t connector but the aftermarket stereo see picture attached will not accept this connector as it has video in & out connections is there a adapter or solution to this problem? thanks in advance

Did the reverse (back-up) camera work with the previous stereo system? Was this a Toyota stereo system or another brand, and what was its model number? Could you post some photos of the connector on the cable to the reverse camera and the corresponding connector on the previous stereo system? How many wires go to the reverse camera, and what colors are they? What is the make and model of the new stereo system? Is there any information in its manual about connecting a reverse camera? For example, are there provisions for providing power for the camera or for detecting when the car is in reverse?
hello elektroingenieur - yes reverse camera worked on old system if i reconnect old system reverse cam still works i only change system because its in japanese and not compatible i have attached photos in following order 1. old system showing arrow to wear reverse connector goes 2. pic 2 old system info 3. the old connector which has spare green wire i don't know what its for? 4. new system info xtrons prius audio system 5. pic 5 back of new system with connections 6. pic 6 new system has 2 wires which i haven't used one is brake in other is reverse hope this helps, thanks
Hey I know this is a very old thread, but did you get this figured out? Your old unit looks like the same NSZT-W62G that I had. Fixing this camera is frustrating me.
