My 2012 V has Trim Strips on both drivers and pax side from windshield to back hatch. However they are now loose and I found one hanging off my car. Is there a recommended glue or adhesive for resetting Trim to body? Thank you for any input. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
If you’re referring to the roof drip side finish mouldings, shown in catalog Figure 75-03, Side Moulding, with part name codes 75555D and 75556C, attached by clips, PNC 75561A, the Repair Manual (more info) installation procedure specifies 3M DP-105 or equivalent adhesive for attaching the clips. The procedure also gives detailed instructions for preparation, clip locations, and curing time.
