I have prius 2006 and there is no ATF-WS in lebanon and i cant order it online form outise. There is any alternative to atf-ws? Regards. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Maybe try amayama, make an inquiry (link on the home page) and ask about Toyota ATF-WS. I find they most typically ship from Japan or United Arab Emirates, shipping charges reasonable, and no duty/taxes, so far... Is there no Toyota network, dealerships, in Lebanon? How about Israel?

Try to find something that is "JWS 3324" compatible. If you're having issues finding something that is compatible, then go with the D6.
Toyota’s position is that there is no alternative. In service bulletin CP-3014, Toyota wrote, “There is no interchangeability between the ATF ‘WS’ and other types.” In service bulletin T-SB-0006-11 Rev1, Toyota wrote: The use of Genuine Toyota ATF-WS is recommended. The use of additives or aftermarket fluids that are considered compatible or substitutes may result in shift concerns and damage to the internal transmission components. ATF-WS is NOT compatible with T-IV or Dexron ATF. Toyota is careful to allow the use of alternative engine oil, coolant, and other fluids for which there are industry standards, but it seems they chose not to license their proprietary specification for ATF WS. If you simply can’t get Toyota ATF WS, there are some third-party transmission fluids claimed by their suppliers to be suitable replacements. It’s difficult to evaluate these claims, of course, without large-scale testing. For example, while it’s not listed on MEDCO’s website, as the local Chevron/Caltex distributor, perhaps they sell Havoline Fully Synthetic Multi-Vehicle ATF, which the product data sheet (PDF) says can be used in “Hybrid vehicles with electronic continuously variable transmissions (eCVTs) where the OEM specifies a MERCON LV or a Toyota Type WS fluid.” Similarly, AISIN claims that their AISIN AFW+ fluid “can be used for TOYOTA WS grade,” and their Middle East subsidiary may be able to direct you to a local source.
