Hey everyone, I sold my old Prius and bought a awd highlander when we moved from South Florida to Denver. We are thinking of getting the AWD prius, does anyone have any experience with one in the Rockies??? Thanks
I’m not in the Rockies but I’ve taken mine up to Tahoe several times this season after and during heavy snow. AWD does exactly what you need it to. Snow tires would only make it that much better. Biggest complaint for me is the lack of ground clearance. Turns into a plow after 6” of fresh pow. I plan on building a 1.5” lift and running 2” bigger ATS tires for an increase of 2.5” ground clearance. Should round out an already awesome platform.
