Will be visiting Yellowstone NP this Summer and staying at Old Faithful Cabins. Plugshare shows two plug ins at that location. Does "non networked" mean free? Also, the Clipper Creek chargers are rated at 32 Amps. Is it safe to plug in? I suspect OK, but will only charge at 16 Amps max.
Looks like charging at Yellowstone is free. Sweet Electric Vehicles in Yellowstone (U.S. National Park Service)
Yes, the ‘charger’ advertises what it can do, but the car decides what it will do. Any j-1772 is fine.
Yup. As long as it’s J1772, you’re fine. Non-networked just means you can’t see its status - whether it’s online/offline or available/in-use.
Yes you’ll be fine. The advertised 32A means the maximum a car can draw from the charger. Your car ultimately decides how much it wants to draw and the charger will only deliver the amps requested by the car. iPhone ?
