I replaced both halogen front bulbs last year. One just went out again. Any suggestions about converting to something that lasts longer, maybe LED bulbs but preferably not HID bulbs. I would rather hear from experience rather than opinions.
If you replaced them with Phillips high output bulbs you buy at parts store that’s about how long they last. Very bright very hot. The factory bulbs last years. That’s my experience.
A fellow member, TGroup, was at my house several days ago. He had purchased new halogen headlight housings and then installed LEDs. They looked pretty good. He may be able to provide some good info. @TGroup, you have any good input?
Same thing high power short life. They tend to cook the connector on the end of the bulb too. Its all they sell at auto parts store. At least around here.
