Gross HV fan and Waterlogged 12v battery

    Cleaned out my disgusting gen 2 some more today after the persistent musty smell kept returning. Must be a leak somewhere...note that odd metallic looking square on the metal behind the hv fan. Is that a patch? It was pretty damp (along with a lot of the insulation).

    Enjoy the pics! Sucked all the water out and let things air dry a bit. Lazily cleaned the hv fan.

    Not sure how to test the hv fan but I imagine thats a good idea.

    Take the spare tire out check under there for water. Reports of water getting under the rear seat carpet area too so might want to smell around the carpet areas.
    And if the ac drip tube gets clogged from lack of maintenance the ac condensate will over flow into the front passenger floor.

    Yeah I took the spare out and removed the floor plugs so that area could drain. There was a good bit of water in there. I’ll take note of the wet carpet from the A/C.
