Non-JBL with Nav HU: Pioneer AVH-2500NEX Dash: JBL GTO329(25W RMSx2) Doors: JBL Club 9630(80W RMSx2) Rear: JBL Club 6520(50W RMSx2) Amp: JBL GTR-104(100Wx4 RMS) Class D 4-channel Sub: JBL GX1200(250W RMS@4ohm) Sub Amp: Kenwood KAC-511(300W RMS@4ohm) Class D Mono ^The Kenwood amp is the only blemish for it kills my OCD for uniformity, but planning on switching to JBL Club-5501 Mono My goal is power efficiently with big sound. So far I have the door and dash speakers installed with the sub and sub amp T-tapped into the rear speaker wire. Having a pro install the head unit and the 4 channel amp on Monday as well as wire up the sub properly. The sound is pretty decent as is, but def lacking body and full potential of power running everything off the stock head unit.
So I ended up keeping the dash and door speakers in parallel so they'd both have amplification, sounds pretty damn good. Question: down the line I'll probably upgrade to components in the front. But would also keep the dash 3.5s and mount the tweeters to the components on the doors. How would I go about wiring that.
