Dash display goes out at night when headlights are turned on

    Hi All
    I have a 2008 prius with 126K Km.
    I live in Canada.
    My Dash display- everything in green led. goes off when I turn on my headlights in the night / dark.
    The dash display stays on if I turn on the headlights during the day.
    Anyone with information please ? I cant see what speed I am going at at night or I have to switch off my headlights and the dash display will come on!

    What @AzusaPrius means is check that the dimmer adjustment wheel is not at the OFF position. Turn it right up and see if the display reaches full brightness. It is located below the steering wheel, to the right.

    Let us know what worked.
