2017 Prime: Loud HVAC fan whine

    Hi everyone...

    My 2017 Prime Advanced has 57k miles. I'm getting a loud screech / whine sound when the AC is on with the fresh air setting applied. I do not get this sound with the recirculate setting applied. I checked the cabin filter (FWIW) and the filter is clear.

    I have the 100k mile extended warranty so I'm not too concerned. Anyone have any ideas on what this could be?

    my 18 does this intermittently.

    It happened to me but with older than 10 years cars, both Toyotas, it was the fan motor bearings.
