Rattle engine on start and when kicks on

    Hi guys long time reader but I have decided it's time to actually join and I need help bad.
    2010 prius, had it about 1 year and previously had a 2004.
    So here is my issue. Car starts and rattles bad. On a test drive when pulling away the car shakes most of time and especially if going uphill.
    Mechanic replaced a coil and 4 spark plugs last week because it was misfiring bad. He is convinced its transmission related and beyond his skill.
    There is no check engine lights on and it goes into toyota next week which I dread...
    Any ideas? I'm thinking reset the ecu by pulling the cable do you think that might help. Its defently down between engine and inverter the noise is coming from.
    Thanks for any help you can offer.
    Ps I'm not very handy but also not a dummy

    Check your EGR pipe to see if there's carbon build up.

    how many miles on her? hopefully, she hasn't blown her head gasket yet. is she burning any oil, or losing coolant?

    you definitely need to read up on egr circuit clogging. see @NutzAboutBolts youtube channel.

    190k miles and uses a little oil. Coolant is fine. Was changed a few thousand miles ago and its sitting halfway right now

    I ment to say oil was changed. Not coolant
