These are on Ebay from £50 - £80. Has anyone tried them? Do they come with holes already in them? It seems impossible to find good scrap ones so I've given up on that idea.
Yes I bought a rear after market bumper long time ago complete junk so thin it has waves in it the fitment quality is terrible too but it is what it is......cheap. I found the same thing you did all the Prius in junkyard are picked clean. Everything on a Toyota is pretty high quality especially under the hood.
+1 The cheap ones are cheap for a reason (OK probably several reasons). Lightweight construction makes them more flimsy and more easily damaged even before installing. I've had issues with the tabs on the ends that connect to the fenders breaking off easily. My painter told me he'd prefers used (with repairs) over new cheap one. Also, dimensions aren't perfect so alignment issues can happen. Goldilocks solution: Not sure what they call it in the UK but in the US we have "insurance certified" parts that meet OEM specs but are a typically priced between the cheap and OEM items.
