Solarroof broken

    Hello new acc but long time lurker. Made this acc to ask about my recently broken 2014 Prius 5 solar roof glass.
    Local shop quoted me 600, toyota quoted me 1000 for parts alone. At this point I dont care about the panels I just dont want it to leak come rain. Do sheet metal 'caps' exist or maybe plexiglass cut to shape idk taking any stories or suggestions.

    Yikes! What happened?

    Is it just the glass over the solar collector that is broken (a little hard to see)?

    I'd think that a car glass shop could put a pane on there for a few $hundred. Get a couple more estimates, maybe.
