We own two hybrid vehicles that have the key fob and the little manual entry key attached to it. The battery failed in one key fob so we had to use the manual key to open the car. The wrong key was used for the wrong car and now that key is stuck in the car door. How do I get this out? We tried the usual lube and jiggling the key a little bit. Everything works fine about the car and we replaced the battery in the fob and we can still drive it around. There is now just a key permanently stuck in the door. Help!
I would take it to a locksmith and get him to remove it. They are faced with lots of unusual locks, key problems and seem to have an answer for them all. Best of luck getting it unstuck.
