I have a 2010 prius, 12v AGM battery is around 5 yrs old. I don't use it daily and only put on 3,000 miles a year before covid. Now with covid, I'm only using the car around once or twice a week for grocery, around 4 mi round trip to the grocery. Battery was dead this morning, got it charged at autozone. What battery maintainer is recommended for this situation? how many amps?
That is because English grammar is no longer taught in US schools today The English language is primarily for communication. Ignoring grammar rules makes clear communication impossible in an already sloppily defined language.
Can't go wrong with the Battery Tender brand but most any one from an Auto Parts store that is fully automatic should be fine. The ones from WalMart should be OK too. You do NOT want a cheap trickle charger. One in the 2 to 4 amp range is more versitile. Around $30 to $40. BUT FIRST, you need a new battery.
