BREAK (!) ABS and TPMS lights

    I have an issue with the BREAK (!) ABS and TPMS lights constantly on when the vehicle is running.

    2007 Toyota Prius
    147K miles

    battery checked at 12.1 overnight 11.8 car on (one press start w/o brake pedal) and at 14.0 car running.

    Flash codes retrieved by grounding pin in ODB2

    (!) 69
    ABS 42
    TPMS 22 47

    Any assistance referencing these codes to the cause of the error would be appreciated!

    give the 12v a charge and see if they go away after reconnecting the battery

    Charging up the battery is a good idea, but there is no reason to suspect those codes are not being truthful.

    I'd be looking up the codes to see what the repair manual tells you about them.

    4 TPMS 47 Doesn't appear to be a valid TPMS code - could it possibly be 67???

    Hey there.
    I have had a couple of those come up on my Prius. (!) 69 was resolved by replacing the brake actuator, ABS code 42 was resolved by replacing the clockspring. The brake actuator isn't a very fun job, but it's not horrible either. The clock spring is really easy to replace.

    I have replaced several TPMS transmitters. You can get the OEM Denso ones for cheap on Amazon. I identified the bad sensor with techstream at home, then brought the bad tire into a tire shop and had them swap the sensor out. Then I brought it home and paired it myself with techstream. Very cheap fix.

    I would maybe question the 12v battery, but these aren't the weirdest codes to have pop up. I would walk through the diagnostic trees on each of these codes to figure out what the problem is.

    I double-checked my TPMS code flashing and its 2-2-2-4-7-7 and then repeats

    Tidesofthesky You mentioned the clock spring is that the one in the steering wheel? I notice that the right side bank of steering wheel switches are not working the ones for rear defrost/defrost I wonder if that is related.
