Jupiter and Saturn

    Caught them last night. The sky wasn't totally dark yet. Sea level in a humid climate makes for far from ideal sky photos, but I was pleased under the circumstances. Nikon D3100 with Tamron 18-270 at full zoom. My blurry first attempt reminded me to lock the mirror out of the way. ISO 200, f6.3, 1.6 seconds on a Manfroto tripod. I'm pretty sure those are some of Jupiter's moons just visible. I resized the photo smaller out of consideration for space on the PC servers and upload/download time.

    I don't think we've had clear skies for 2 weeks now, but we had holes in the clouds to see the event most nites
