Greetings, first time poster here. A few days back my 2011 Prius lost power and the light panel lit up. I pulled over and the Check Hybrid light came on. I turned the car off then back on and drove the mile to get home. I assumed the issue was a failed hybrid battery, I had seen that on my 2007 Prius requiring a battery change. I could not get to the car the following day but when I did it was to move her from one side of the drive way to the other. Again I had the check hybrid light but the car started very rough. I pulled the codes and had P0303 (Cylinder misfire) so I changed all four spark plugs. After the change I no longer had the P0303 but had a P3190 (low power). What I did not have was the check hybrid battery. Turned the car off and 10 minutes later started her again. Now no lights and no codes. Battery check light was out and check hybrid remained out. Drove the car for 5 miles and no indications of a problem. What is going on? Could a misfiring cylinder indicate/trigger a hybrid issue? Thanks in advance, NPR
I have driven the car for some 60 miles since changing the spark plugs. So far, touch wood, no issues. Do I need to check anything else or was it simply the cylinder issue? Thanks.
