Toyota should'a made a video like this in the early 2000s so people would have stopped all of the FUD.
Actually, I meet the driver stereotype and I'm proud of it. Bob, speaking of Prius myths, any buzz in Huntsville about what vehicle Toyota will build at the factory that Toyota and Mazda are building there? Mazda has said that they will build a new SUV using Toyota HSD but as far as I know Toyota hasn't even said that much.
I enjoyed the list of Toyota Prius Myths One of my personal favorites is one that was going around when we bought our first new Toyota Prius. How many of you can remember: EMF radiation present in Toyota Prius -should we be wearing tinfoil hats! (tongue in cheek)
About to buy our family's 6th Toyota hybrid. Two v's, one Gen3, One Prius Prime, one Rav4h and one Avalon hybrid.
Where did you hear that? Since the Mazda announced that they will have Toyota HSD, I figured that the Toyota built there would be a hybrid also, possibly the Corolla Cross. Pure speculation on my part.
That was a long time back - 6 or 10 years ago I'd guess. But Mazda never did it. Yet. The only 2 I can recall recently are SUZUKI and SUBARU - Suzuki have rebadged, I think a RAV4. But SUBARU ended up doing only a toy mild hybrid in the FORESTER - quite disappointing.
Mazda saying that they will have a new SUV using Toyota HSD has been stated in their last 2 semiannual corporate reports, so this time the plan is real. The new factory in Huntsville will have 2 production lines, one for Toyota and one for Mazda. The plan is to share many components. I had hoped that someone living in Huntsville might have gotten more news about it.

Yes, I'm aware of that. Here in the Colorado Springs area people are in mourning over the loss, especially the Republican congressman, Doug Lamborn, who though he had it in the bag. Trump chose to reward Tommy Tuberville instead. Now our Senators, both Democrats, are asking Biden to reverse the decision. (Note: I'm not starting a political discussion. We have plenty of people moving here, so I'm fine with Huntsville getting it but with a huge military presence here it's a pride thing for a lot of people)
Neither me too. I just like to release a cage full of squirrels into a thread every now and then. Entertainment is where you find it..... If dot.gov facilities were put "in the best place, for the best reason" then I would not have made 6 submarine patrols out of the very worst place on the eastern seaboard that you could have possibly situated a Navy base for nuclear powered, Trident equipped vessels with a 35-foot draft.....Coastal Georgia! (Three guesses why THAT happened!!!! ) Fun Fact: A Nimitz (or Ford) class carrier requires a little bit deeper water......THEY need 37 feet.....but even brown-shoes are smart enough not to park deep water ships in the middle of a swamp....
This puts numbers on one of my previous posts about Prius owners retaining their vehicles for longer.
I only help one of these having owned 5 sports cars and everything from a Plymouth Horizon (with VW engine) to a Grand Caravan to a Ford Falcon. By stereotypes I should be diving a big land yacht. Guy across the street keeps his Prius in the garage next to his 30 year old 'vette. I sold a Porsche and Honda CRV to buy my first Prius. I don't keep cars long enough to help the longevity with original owner one but we are now on our 6th Toyota Hybrid so they must not be too boring.
