Anyone from Tucson have a CAT Shield Installed? I’m having a hard time finding a muffler shop that has installed one. Can’t do it myself; old lady without tools or know how!
The job shouldn't take much effort, guess it depends on the fasteners being used. Would think an hours worth of labor and a lift. Would bet Steve Keith can recommend someone in your area, and please do say hello from all of us here at PC, as we miss him. Thanks, I sent them an e-mail. I have only used PC a couple of times. What do you mean my posts are no longer moderated?
Not exactly sure on the settings, but new members are moderated until they've reached five (5) posts. Which causes some posting lag.
Here's some certified installers that will know how to install FOR SURE: https://catshield.com/pages/retailers-installers
Any competent mechanic would be able to install one. Why would you need to find a shop that installed one? Just order one online (Amazon?) and take it to a muffler shop or mechanic with a hoist. Install instructions online Install diagram | GetCatSecurity
My local mechanics in San Diego charge $75 to $100 to install one. I did it myself and it took about an hour including getting the car on the lift and dropping it after the job.
