I did my best to document my process of diagnosing and rebuilding my Prius battery pack. There is a major learning curve, so pardon some of my ignorance in part 1 of this video! I'm working on part 2 where I explain in detail my thoughts on rebuilding packs, why it's hard to make a rebuild last for any significant period of time, and how I will do it next time I get a chance to rebuild a pack! Just finished up Part 2. This is a bit of an overview of my evolving understanding of battery reconditioning, and then I do some charge cycling on the modules. Part 3 will be released next Friday (4/16/21) and will show my process of load testing/internal resistance testing of Prius modules- and then I prepare to build the new pack. Part 4 will come out in 2 weeks (4/25/21) and will be the reinstallation, testing and troubleshooting of the pack, then some final thoughts on what I'd do differently next time.
