Have base 2008 Prius, can I install JBL 6-CD changer?

    I have a base 2008 Prius, no navigation and only a single basic CD player with AM/FM radio. Can I simply swap the CD player unit out for one of those 6-CD changer systems that came equipped in JBL package Prius? The main reason I'm wanting to do this because I'm wanting the ability to play multiple discs loaded with MP3 files. Please let me know. Thanks!

    instead of trying to use a junk factory unit that probably requires you to rewire the whole interior of the car, get an aftermarket system. it will be better in every way than the JBL garbage. i had a base 2004, i replaced headunit and speakers and it sounded waaaay better than the jbl in my 2006, plus i had bluetooth audio, could play music from thumb drives, dvd's, etc. crutchfield.com is my go to.
