Prius 2007 problem: Navigation DVD works OK, checked - System check done, NAV is OK, no fault codes. Map DVD is correct. I purchased an original map DVD (according to Toyota Europe code is OK, checked, latest update). I have the message that you see in first picture. Any ideas? Any help? Thanks.
The third screenshot does not show any disc information. I suspect the DVD is damaged in some way and the DVD player is unable to read the DVD. Have you tried this DVD in another reader? Have you tried a different DVD in this reader?
Map DVD is brand new. I will try to clean the lens of the DVD player. Yes my previous DVD, version 2007 was working. Is there any possibility to reset something?
The would have been my next suggestion, too. Not that I'm aware of. Did you insert the new DVD with the correct side up? I presume you've tried your old DVD in the player and that is still working ok?
Problem solved: 12V battery disconnected for about 3 minutes. Then DVD player scanned the map disk and recognized it.
Put the disc in a desktop/laptop and check it it's DVD-R instead of DVD-RW. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
