Any information would be much appreciated. I have a 2002 prius with 208000. Still get's good mpg, seems to run great. I replaced the HV battery with a few months ago. About 2-3 times a month the red triangle will come on. I pull over, turn the car off and on and it drives fine again for a while. I've scanned the OBDII and it says no codes in the ECU. Any tips?
A typical OBDII scanner will only pull codes associated with the check engine light (generic codes). You'll need to get access to a more powerful scanner. Techstream is the official Toyota stuff, and if you search this site you'll find ways of getting it cheap. But there are also other scanners that will pull the Toyota & hybrid system codes. Until you have those codes, there's no way to know where to start.
