=carplay - hard to get mod to use cell on display???

    I am looking for the mod kit that allows you to use your cellphone on the head in the car.

    Apparently, you can order this part (from China) and it will mirror your cell phone to the screen and also the touch control... I almost do not believe if. It is not cheap, but it is an extremely elegant solution.

    Does anyone know more about this? Has anyone tried it? How do I go about getting it and finding some instructions.

    Apparently most dealerships do not know about this, much less how to install it... or would they want to deal with it.

    (currently have a 2017 prius with the 10 speaker system. even with entune I cannot use waze on the screen... which is what I would have liked.) (android play)

    I too have seen some elegant solutions... if they work.

    These are for cars that already have carplay installed. I do not have that at all.

    FYI: I Have been using a USB Fob to play quality MP3 recordings... and I can tell you for a fact: This method is of much superior sound quality than using bluetooth from another device... The difference is amazing.
