When I was in Italy in 2020, I thought I was the only one driving a Prius over there. Maybe saw only a hand full in 3 weeks time. Was in Venice and parked my car in one of the towers just outside the city centre. We were on the top deck accompanied by lots of very expensive and luxury cars. When we picked it up (part valet) the man asked me about my car. I told him to look for a black hybrid, he started laughing and says to me, "ah it's you...". It was sort of the ugly duck in the pond... Well, it's quite easy to spot your car on the parking lot, the only Prius around
Love those lights on the front fenders... No doubt a regional requirement that's not required elsewhere. Would be fun to find a pair of them and replace my hybrid badges with them. Anyone know of other Toyotas that use the same running lights?
Those are indeed required in entire Europe (as far as I know). Nowadays more and more these light are incorporated in the mirrors for most manufacturers. Not sure which models use the same type of bezel as on the Prius.
