Exterior bottom rattle noise

    I’m trying to diagnose an external rattle sound coming from underneath front/mid area whenever I drive on a bumpy road. 2013 Prius Persona with 90K miles.
    Any suggestions?

    Only way to do this is to lift the car in the air and see if there's anything loose/missing.

    If it happens when one side hits a bump but not the other, check the sway bar bushings & end links.

    Check out the exhaust shielding... First step is shake exhaust pipe at back of car super hard to "adjust" the shielding. Don't worry, the rubber mounts will ensure you don't break anything.
