Yesterday all day we had some pretty heavy rains during which my car which parked nose up on my sloped driveway overnight. The first few drives for the day were fine but at about midday, the dash cluster went out (I could only see the lights for shifting, ECO mode, and maybe 1-2 more small lights) everything else including speedometer, and fuel gauge were gone. The heat/air cluster digital display also went out but the radio display was working just fine. None of this effected the ability to drive the car like normally. I tried turning the car off and on and that didn't fix it. This happened for about 30 minutes until randomly in the middle of highway driving, it all came back and was working fine. Oh and my Prius V's mileage is about 240k. What do y'all think? Rain related or age related?
i have a leak in my dakota when i park uphill. mech tried everything and couldn't find it. he suggested the windshield seal might be bad, but i haven't followed up.
