It looks like it... There's a Toyota logo stamped on can at the top of the picture. It's too small to see in this picture though, but that's how they confirm it's OEM in a smog test in California.
As PriusCamper said, there's a Toyota logo stamped into the OEM cat. At least in this country. I would think that would be true everywhere.
And then there's the one I saw today. A 2007 that just came from auction so I put it up on the hoist to install a cat shield so we wouldn't have to bring it in the shop overnight. It had a brand new Toyota cat that was so brand new that the sticker hadn't burned off yet. I'm guessing that the cat got stolen and insurance paid for a new one and then the owner traded it in before it got stolen again.
Thanks for your replies. I'll get under mine soon and have a closer look for the Toyota logo/stamp then. (the photo was taken last year when I was under there for an oil change)
