I have a 2010 Prius setting a p3004. I just replaced the HV ECU for a p0a0d. Car still won't start but I saw my SOC was at 0%. Would that cause the p3004 and if so is that battery junk? All cells are above 15v. I know that is still low. Any help appreciated. Thanks Ryan
SOC takes time to establish accurately after system is reset. What's voltage of the pack? You sure you got everything reconnected correctly?
Cell volts are a little over 15v on all. The only thing I havent rechecked is the inverter connectors. I've done my services plug Idk how many times hoping it would fix it.
Yeah I've done that multiple time making sure it wasn't me. I'll have to get it in to my shop and go through the pinpoint testing and really diag it I guess
Ok finally got back to it and it was the inverter. After trying a couple hv ecu I threw an inverter in. When doing the pinpoint test it had me ohm the wires from the inverter to the ECU and spec was 120 -140 but I had 150 on each ecu and if out it says replace ECU.
as in, somebody actually verified that the safety interlock circuit had continuity all the way through, and the ECUs interlock sense input had failed? I think this is the first time I've heard of a P0A0D solved that way.
