2022 Prius Prime XLE (non JBL) audio system upgrade

It was a trial and error until I got the sound I Like. All doors were sound deadened with Killmat (

). NVX FRING65 adhesive foam ring kt were installed as well on each door speaker.

Trial 1: Improves clarity but a poor front stage.
Powered by: Head unit only
Dash - JBL CLUB3020 3.5"
Front door - Stock speaker
Rear door - Stock speaker

Trial 2: Clear and smooth high still lacks soundstage/imaging. Decent bass on front and rear door speakers, cleaner and louder than stock.

Trial 3: Great bass from the front and rear door speakers, cleaner and louder.. Clear and smooth highs, still lack soundstage/imaging.

Trial 4: Perfect soundstage/imaging with crisp and smooth not fatiguing highs, great mids, punchy and tight bass after after setting time alignment and input EQ on DSP.
Powered by: Audiocontrol ACM 4.300 50W x 4 (under driver's seat)
Sound Processor: CDSP 6x8 (under the front passenger seat) - taken from my old car
Front door/Dash: Morel Tempo Ultra 602 MKII Tempo Ultra Series 6-1/2" component speaker system - taken from my old car.
Rear door: Morel Maximo Ultra Coax 602 MKII
Amplifier and DSP were installed in the car audio shop.

Sound Processor: CDSP 6x8 - under driver's seat



Power Amplifier: Audiocontrol ACM 4.300 - under the front passenger seat.
