Hello, sorry in advance maybe i'm creating a similar question, but i didn't find the answer. I need to connect signal wire to my camera. New android stereo has a wire how can i connect? Thank you Prius 2016 and original stereo 86140-47270
R is missing, gotta fix it. New stereo has a wire to connect it to the revers signal. So when I turn revers, back camera supposed turn on.
Just went through this on my 2016 prius 3, going to post lengthier document, but assuming that you have stepped down the voltage to your OEM camera from 12v to 6v already, that wire from the head unit should go do the green purple one on the harness on the steering wheel control harness, it should be the signal wire that the car sends to the head unit that its in reverse Note: its should be obvious when you look at it, but this is the top row (with clip facing up) Steering wheel harness with the reverse signal reverse camera harness with stepdown from 12v to 6v (12v white cables goes to ACC 12v)
