At some point around mid-December I'm going to be doing the big ol' Boston --> FLA haul for holiday visitation, and then back again sometime around the timeframe of new years. Are there any proposed or already-scheduled gatherings I might be able to pop in on if I do my planning right? Or is anyone up for small car-geeking dinner get-togethers or the like? I'm willing to deviate a reasonable distance from the otherwise straight-shot route if good opportunties present themselves. [*Note: the "straight shot" probably does NOT include I-95 between Boston and the DC area; it's much nicer and cheaper to loop slightly farther around thru the hills of PA!] . This also implies that I'll be in the gulf-coast area for a couple of weeks... . _H*
Start a bit sooner and you can arrive in time for the (scheduled) space shuttle night launch 7 December. My sister and I are planning to attend that, and perhaps after to swing by Huntsville to see what Bob Wilson is up to with his classic Prius. As you might imagine, that latter part was not her idea...
