Sometimes the car drives just fine other times it acts funny hard in the pedals steering wheels to stiff other times is too loose but the main problem is when I'm hitting the gas it's hitting at a high RPM sounds like it's in 5th gear almost and has trouble getting up to speed then it'll be just fine two seconds later also I've been noticing a funny smell of gas or almost like butane smell so I think it might be something to do with the catalytic converter here's the codes 01-05 190-56- C 01-DC 190-CA- 5 01-DC 106-9C-F
Lots of people discover those self-diagnostic screens in the infotainment system and think they've discovered an easy trick to diagnose car problems, but. sadly, no: the codes you found are only useful for diagnosing the infotainment system itself. Diagnostic codes for issues with the car all look like a letter P, C, B, or U, followed by a digit 0, 1, 2, or 3, followed by three more chosen from digits 0–9 or letters A–F, and to read them you need a separate scan tool plugged in at the car's diagnostic port. Are any warning lights showing on your dash? If you eventually want to follow up those infotainment system codes, you can find troubleshooting info for them in the repair manual. But probably you're more concerned about the possible mechanical issue for now. Toyota Service Information and Where To Find It | PriusChat
