2014 Prius 2 with water dripping on the ground.

    Water drips on the ground after driving and NOT using the AC. It is clear water. If it was in the radiator, it would be freezing solid here in Michigan soon. Ant ideas?

    Where is it dripping from? If there's moisture on the car when you drive, it would just settle and drip onto the ground to drain.

    Perhaps by identifying the drain/water leak location could help find the the root cause?

    On our (Canadian) 2010, if vent mode is set to heat/defog, the AC compressor cycles. Confirmed with ScanGauge.

    When I opened the service access area where you drain the oil, it was dripping out of there.

    I believe so. The water on the ground is about a foot and a half in diameter. The car has never done this before.

    The defroster setting uses the air conditioner, in order to remove moisture from the air so it does not condense on the windshield. The removed moisture drips out the bottom of the car.
