im probably having a new mtr. put in my 2010 prius with 275 ,000 next week and im seeing if anyone has dealt with gasketmaster in manteca ca. . and if its a worthwhile deal on a 13 yr old car with that many mi. . feedback please
i doubt it, how much do they want? you have to consider the battery and brake actuator. of course, new and used cars are expensive, so you have to weigh the alternatives.
From what I’ve read here they do rush jobs, cut corners, brake clips, lose stuff. One guy reported upon taking it all apart after their head gasket job, he found a washer missing on one of the head bolts. Owner of the business has a short fuse too; I’ll leave it at that.
well replies to late for me . maybe theyll help the next person . i now have a rblt gm mtr ,new water pump and egr cooler . i dont have 4k in my wallet anymore .! 3 yr. warranty ! we will see . so im in for $5600 including the price of the car ,reg. and smog cert. . thats less than people are asking for priuss around here with out a new mtr. .dont know if they get it or are just dreaming !
