New member, long time lurker. At 1st, Cel appears off & on. Goto parts house, they tell me p1121 code so I replace 3 way valve with New oem unit, flush, replace and bleed cooling system & clear code. I hear the 3 way valve constantly oscillating till it stops day later and cel comes back on. Now I have p1121, 1122 & 1123. Next day red Triangle shows up at start up & I don't see turbulence in the inverter rez, don't wanna drive it. I looked up the codes and think it may be a temp sensor problem but now I'm guessing, not sure how to proceed. Advice on what to check & in what order welcomed. I'd say the inverter pump has failed but these codes don't reflect that yet there is none or almost no turbulence.
you need to read the codes again if the triangle came on. but if there is no inverter movement, you need a new pump if it's getting 12 volts
Got my Autel today. Same 3 codes plus... P0A80(TRAC BATT FAIL), P3000(batt control), C1300 (abs, ecu malfunction) & C1241 (low or high pos batt voltage). New codes all came on at the same time. My prev experience, the dash lights up like Xmas tree when anything major happens, probably battery failure I want to clear codes and reread what's current. I'm willing to replace the battery if the cooling codes (p1121,1122,1123) are the only true repair items. Autel showed that these codes have a extensive history on this Car. It started and ran well 3 days ago when I had codes read at autozone. Any advice on trouble shooting the p112x codes?
What "parts house" did you get this OE valve from? If the valve was oscillating, that sounds like it's faulty. I get mine from a brick & mortar Toyota dealer, and do not have problems with the new parts. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
