Back story: our Prius was in a minor accident. Sat at the body shop through some really cold weather. When we picked it up after body repairs, it was dead. Jumped and drove home. Turns out battery was wrecked so we replaced the 12V. After new 12V was installed, the ABS, brake, and traction lights are on and remain on. Checked fuses, connections, etc. Codes read as various ABS codes, but there wasn’t a problem until the new battery was put in. Braking seems to be functioning as normal with a couple drives around the block. Any ideas or should I just call a brake shop?

What did the body shop repair on your car? Please list the trouble codes that you read with your scanner. Are they current codes, pending codes, historical codes? Have you tried clearing the codes and see which ones return? A new 12v battery will not create trouble codes. The body shop could have done something wrong during the repair. You should have kept the codes. Depending on where the damage was, perhaps they damaged one of the abs sensors, or forgot to reconnect it. Either way, you need to take it back and make them fix it.
Yeah I will be calling the shop back. The damage was to the front drivers side, so they replaced that panel, front bumper, headlight, etc. It’s just infuriating to me how long they took and it’s still not working.
Without knowing what was damaged on your car it's very difficult to tell ABS sensors come to mind and possible. Usually you just write the codes down replace the battery start the vehicle maybe clear the codes and go for a drive and see if you have anything else recheck the codes again after you've done the drive see if anything's pending sitting or whatever and see what you got. I couldn't honestly say the body shop screwed up I can't even see the damage it was done before the car went there I mean did we smack a curb do we have any reason for ABS sensors and plugs to be undone in the first place either by the accident or by the work done by the body shop? I know if you don't do this kind of work you may have no idea so somebody may have to look.

Update! Took it to the Toyota dealer because apparently this body shop just sends all their problems there. They solved everything in an hour. They said that the body shop must have had a bunch of things unplugged still when they jump started it and that led to need for recalibration. They did a linear valve offset calibration and adjusted the yaw rate sensor. That cleared the codes and it’s perfectly fine. Now my only stress will be getting this bill to the body shop so they can adjust our insurance claim.
