We get the leaf commercials out here a fair bit (not surprising since you saw san Francisco in the commercial). We also get ads for the other Evs out there too. But maybe not surprising since this is California. Here’s what the local bowling alley charging stations looked like a couple of weekends back: No leafs there, but there was one in the parking lot.
If that's the only ad they are running, I don't see people storming the doors of the dealerships. 50 seconds of somebody in a wingsuit, followed by not much. Up until the last 10 seconds it could have been an ad for toothpaste.
Oh we get plenty of those out here to, but with gas at $4 a gallon, convincing folks the large urban assault vehicles is a great purchase is becoming difficult . But they still give it their best shot.
