Looking for advice on my vehicle fixing plans.

    If I'm reading the bottom of the image you uploaded properly, it's unlikely that's its just a short to the motor since only one of the 3 codes is present. And it's more likely it's a short inside at phase U.

    Okay given this information I should pivot to attempting to replacing the parking motor entirely, I found several used but functioning units on ebay for about $100.
    I'm imagining that is my best bet. I've read that the parking motor is on the back of the transmission. And I understand what it looks like, a circle with three arms and a bolt in each arm.

    Does this sound like about right? Am I accurately interpreting this Information how you would @mr_guy_mann ?

    Okay so I got the problem fixed. I needed to replace the shift control actuator. So the dealership was right but instead of paying $1400(parts) and $600 in labor. I paid $130(parts) and $120 in labor.

    I'm just happy it's over.
