Left-side speedometer instrument cluster not working

    I have a 2010 Prius 3 which the cluster at first showed signs of failure, weak lighting and sparking noise at some display modes. Right now the left-side of the cluster isn't working, where the speedometer, fuel gauge and instant fuel consume shows. (The mirrored cluster). What could be the issue and is it possible to replace just this component of the cluster?[​IMG]

    it's usually a bad capacitor on the board. anyone sell rebuilt units there?

    That's only true with 2004-2009 Prius... And while that could be the problem here, It also could be something else entirely...

    Do the warning lights to the left of the cluster still light up when you start the car?

    Yes. Only the Speed/Fuel/MPG screen doesn't work.
