    Greetings,

    2004 with 398,150 miles.

As I was driving today the traction light came on. Streets and roads were dry. The car was jerking a little. Evened out and ran fine. Later stopped at a stoplight on an incline. No triangle or traction light warning, but the engine/car jerked a little as I accelerated and the car began to move. No codes showing on Techstream or warning lights, just subtle jerking. Before all this started earlier today it briefly had a rough idle, which made me think it might be sparkplugs or ignition coils. The last time something similar to this happened, I discovered the connector to the crankshaft position sensor was not snapped on all the way so it was throwing a code and would go into safety mode. It's not that this time. Any ideas?

UPDATE: Pulled out and cleaned the crankshaft position sensor. Cleaned the wire connectors. It had some oil on it, but no shavings, debris or metal filings at all. Seems to be running better. Still no codes or warning lights.
