I read through the winter tires thread and looked at a lot of reviews on tires and decided purchase a second set of tires and wheels with better performance particularly in snow and ice than the stock Toyo Extensa II A/S. I also wanted a decent looking set of wheels. Measured back space and front space for the new set and decided on MSW Type 48 17x7.5 with Michelin CrossClimate2 size 205/55R17. The only rating according to consumer reports that is below the stock tires is the rolling resistance with all other ratings being equal or better. I purchased a second set of Toyota TPMS valve stems part number 42607-0E090 so I wouldn't have any issues with TPMS system. Yesterday I had the tires, wheels and valve stems installed yesterday and took this pic today. So far everything is working fine with no issues.
