Gen 3 Prius engine repair HELP all comments welcome

    HELP!!
    I'm mid way through head gasket repair following some excellent instructions/ videos from this site. BUT a piece fell out ofthe head and I cant find where it goes LoL! I think it was just sitting on/in it loose. Its actually driving me crazy. Was it just laying in the head from somewhere else? I didn't see it til it fell out of the head when I tilted it. Its not the post thingy's that line up the head or the valve cover... and it looks to big to be the other thingy sleeve things that are installed with the oil pump. I have watched complete break downs and I am at a loss. Any Ideas?

    oh also i have 2012 prius V not 2010

    If it's from the engine it should be in the attached. A part of the cam lobe rockers??

    rockers and valves are all intact....the cylinder on the rockers is different
