It all depends on when the Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi was first aired. Was it before or after Godwin's 1990 law? As far as I'm concerned, any use of the term "Nazi" in today's culture (as long as it is preceded by a noun) is clearly not aimed at any individual or group of people so as to be disrespectful, but is clearly intended to provide clarification of the aforementioned noun. Therefore, I believe IMHO that this thread should stay open even though my attempt at directing it away from the Nazi Nazis was unsuccessful. :lol:
