Key fob model B31EA same as B31EG

    I lost one key fob for my Prius, so I looked into replacing it with a cheaper alternative. However, my key fob has the Model number B31EA I have a 2008 Prius Europe , and I can only find information that the replacement option supports B31EG. Are they compatible?

    Did the chicken dance with the cheap new key B31EG and it dis not work the red program light went out directly I inserted the new key fob.
